Therefore, we have adapted our product to the needs of our customers and supplemented our growth strategy with add-on acquisitions resulting from the current COVID-19 situation. We opportunistically leverage Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) to further drive and ensure our strong, yet sustainable growth. For the successful handling of these M&A deals all the way from deal making towards integration, we are looking for you as a M&A Associate. You love to take over ownership for key projects along the deal cycle. Work in a high-caliber team and report to our VP M&A & Integrations, Dr. Stephan Tingler, a former McKinsey partner.

YOUR TASKS

  • You take over ownership for key tasks along the entire M&A deal cycle
  • You identify acquisition targets and develop the strategic concept for targets in scope
  • You develop business plans for potential acquisitions targets, value the business and derive a purchasing price  
  • You lead due diligence efforts with internal and external (e.g., lawyers) experts  
  • You takeover key projects within the integration of acquired companies and thus take on a key role to deliver the estimated synergies
  • You coordinate several work streams of the functional integration efforts  
  • You prepare key analysis for requests of our investors on M&A topics 
  • You drive specific knowledge topics to further shape our deal-making and integrations playbook

YOUR PROFILE

  • You are excited to work in an international, diverse team
  • You ideally have 1-2 years experience in high-paced environments (e.g., top management consulting, investment banking, scale-ups, VC) 
  • You have strong analytical and interpersonal skills 
  • You have a passion for transactions and want to thrive in the fast-paced world of M&A deal-making 
  • You have the ability to connect and build relationships with individuals from all backgrounds 
  • You must be fluent in English and German, - given that a big part of our customers are German speakers from the DACH region
