What you will do
You will handle legal tasks for multiple jurisdictions relating to a broad range of issues, including consumers, partners and authorities. Your main goal should be to be the best problem solver in the world and drive legal innovation forward! You will be expected to merge stakeholders’ expectations and legal requirements into a simple and innovative product, process or contract. Teamwork and a multi-jurisdictional mindset will be part of your daily routine.

Your tasks may contain the following:

  • Conducting legal research related to marketing and privacy-related topics across various jurisdictions
  • Creating legal guidelines and instructions for marketers
  • Reviewing marketing assets such as direct marketing sendouts (email, sms, in-app messages, push notifications)
  • Drafting and reviewing T&Cs for marketing competitions, giveaways, and other offers
  • Drafting contracts and assisting in contract negotiations with co-marketing partners, suppliers, agencies, and talent
  • Responding to requests by authorities

You should have:

  • At least 3-5 years of professional experience as a lawyer, preferably from a renowned international law firm, the financial sector, telecom or the IT industry
  • A legal degree from one of Klarna’s core markets, preferably the UK or Germany
  • Experience in consumer marketing and privacy related legal questions and contract negotiations
  • Solid interest in the disruptive payment industry and a willingness to learn rather than focus in a specific area of law
  • Proven ability to problem solve in a global environment
  • Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English
