We are currently looking to grow our Global Legal Domain to satisfy the company’s ever increasing need for legal innovation in all parts of the business, covering commercial, consumer, corporate, regulatory and privacy law. What you will do:

  • You will primarily handle legal matters for Klarna’s UK branch, supporting business and product teams with a variety of day-to-day legal matters, focusing on:
  • Creating and maintaining UK legal marketing guidelines and supporting the UK team as they implement the guidelines with partners and internal stakeholders
  • Supporting on preparation of training materials and collateral on UK marketing guidelines
  • Advising and supporting on commercial negotiations and legal contracts with external UK suppliers supporting the UK branch
  • Supporting and advising on regulatory interactions and correspondence with UK regulators
  • Supporting and advising on regulatory change assessments and implementation

You should have:

  • Previous professional experience (around 3-6 years) as a lawyer, preferably from a well renowned law firm, the financial sector, telecoms industry, the IT industry and/or any other regulated industry
  • Solid interest in the disruptive payment industry and a willingness to learn 
  • Proven ability to problem solve in a global environment
  • Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English

  • Excellent people skills and you are a true star when it comes to stakeholder management
  • Strong business understanding
  • Passion for problem solving and driving change by using innovative solutions
  • The capability of prioritising conflicting demands and handling multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment
