Deine Aufgaben

  • Prepare requirements by analyzing Project Scope and legal requirements.

  • Responsible for all packaging approval 

  • Assurance of all GD&T criteria for complete system

  • Manage requirements through project’s lifecycle from concept selection to PPAP  as per APQP and ensure clear communication to all relevant stakeholders.

  • Decompose requirements from the system level to the component level, ensuring clear structure and full traceability.

  • Identify and capture requirements verification criteria. Ensure clear and complete traceability with requirements, test cases, DFMEA, PFMEA, Design Reviews. 

  • Define and manage steering system architecture aligning with functional and technical safety requirements.

  • Conduct steering system analysis using state-of-the-art techniques and methodologies.

  • Conduct steering system and its elements functional concept analysis.

  • Define steering system parameter diagram and its noise mitigation.

  • Align targets for performance, costs and quality cross-functionally with Project Management, Attribute Integration, Purchase, Quality & Engineering Service Providers.

  • Support the vehicle dynamics tuning process with regard to steering systems. Participate in ride tests or any other development activities

  • Correlate steering system work with Functional Safety analysis and make sure development is following the process.

  • Monitor and document electrical and communication interfaces (internal and external).

  • Identify, analyses and maintain system interfaces (energy, material, information, physical).

  • Create and maintain calculation and simulation templates.

  • Develop steering system and its core elements models assisting in performance parameters identification based on vehicle parameters.

  • Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with designers to implement those fixes

Unsere Anforderungen

  • Degree in Automotive or Mechanical or Systems Engineering (MEng, MSc, PhD).

  • 5 or more years of industry experience in steering systems engineering role.

  • An analytically directed mindset, systematic problem solving.

  • Strong knowledge systems engineering principles, frameworks, methodologies.

  • Good knowledge of DFMEA/ PFMEA practice.

  • Good knowledge of suspension and steering system KnC.

  • Good knowledge of Functional Safety (ISO26262 ) & UDS protocol.

  • Understanding engineering disciplines, such as mechanical, electrical and software engineering

  • Managing efficient information flow between projects & Cross functional  teams.

  • Good knowledge of steering system Kinematics & testing practices.

  • Expertise in office tools (Excel, PowerPoint & Word) 

  • Understanding of CAN pass through devices like Vector CANoe & INCA.
