As a Senior Product Manager you will play a critical role in driving the development and performance of our core brokerage products and the user-experiences that they support. You will be working within one of our Business Solution Teams, each of these teams are responsible for a specific part of our customer value proposition, they obsess about how to improve the customer experience and in turn the engagement and performance of those customers. These teams work on the basis of ‘single-threaded-ownership’ and are empowered to define and prioritise the initiatives that will best deliver the objectives and key results of that team.
As a Senior Product Manager in the Carrier Marketplace Business Solution Team you will play a key role in the overall success of the team. The Carrier Marketplace team’s mission is to “find the best truck for every load at the right price”. You will be responsible for the strategy and development of technology and tools that connect loads from shippers and carriers via Octopus, our internal TMS (Transport management system). In other words, your main responsibility is to accelerate and/or automate the time required to assign loads to carriers and also improve the assignment tool used by our operational teams to match shipper’s loads with the best carrier. The role is based in our Amsterdam HQ office. You will work in close partnership with other central teams, and also with sennder’s regional carrier and operational teams. You will report to the Senior Manager, Carrier Marketplace.
