Head of Sales UK&I

Salary: £80k - £100k base salary + Uncapped variable commission (OTE + 50% base). Pension, Benefits

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced sales leader, looking to accelerate revenue growth within a buoyant market, backed by an international company with huge financial backing. 

 

Goodtill by SumUp point of sale (POS), recently rebranded SumUp POS, is a software provider based in the UK specializing in cloud based POS solutions, including loyalty and online ordering applications.  Businesses use SumUp POS software and services to help them scale and provide great customer service to their customers.  The UK&I division (formerly Goodtill), was recently acquired by a global payments organization, SumUp.  We are adding new services to the SumUp product line and are expanding teams across the UK and Ireland, with a view to scale even faster, with big marketing budgets.  This is an incredibly exciting time to join the team at SumUp and truly help shape the future of the business.  

 

We are a dynamic company, with lots of great colleagues who all work hard, but also have fun at the same time!  There is a real sense of all pulling together in one direction to hit some pretty ambitious company growth targets over the next 2-3 years.  To help springboard our growth, SumUp has recently invested in a brand new office in Covent Garden, which is a great place for teams to collaborate and be successful!

 

The ideal candidate will be someone who has good experience working with multiple sales teams, collaborating further with international regions and distributed departments.   Reporting to the UK&I POS board, you will be expected to be based from the new London office in Covent Garden. 

 

The candidate should have a real drive to succeed in this new role and enjoy the rewards that come from that.   



What you should have:

  • Minimum 5 years experience working as sales leader 
  • Experience working with international companies
  • Understanding of POS + Payments industry (not essential but desired)
  • Ability to develop and motivate people 




Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring UK + Ireland meet and exceed their revenue targets
  • Managing and supporting the 5 sales squads across UK + Ireland
  • Personal development with 5 sales squad leaders ensuring they meet their personal goals
  • Collaborating with marketing on new sales growth initiatives
  • Working with the Global POS tribe revenue forum for cross country communication / collaboration
  • Strong CRM skills (Hubspot + Salesforce experience would be beneficial), with focus on improvement of current KPI/reporting
  • Reporting to UK + Ireland Board on regular basis
