Who we are looking for.

  • You have a degree in Psychology, Business Administration, Human Resources or in a similar field
  • You have 4+ years of experience in a Senior or leading HR position in an international company in the e-commerce sector, ideally in a fast-paced Startup environment
  • You have a proven track record in building organizations and handling everything that comes with it: scalable people operations, future-oriented business partnering, sustainable company culture, and top-notch talent acquisition
  • You are familiar with having the strategic and operational responsibility for all HR processes and have a hands-on experience with Personio or other similar HR tools
  • You are experienced in providing leadership and coaching to executives, managers, and the wider team, across the full range of people-related topics and are skilled communicating in a professional yet empathetic manner
  • You have good knowledge in German labour, tax, and social law
  • You know how to handle the common Social Media channels for active sourcing and employer branding like LinkedIn (Recruiter) and Xing
  • You have excellent English and German skills

What you will do.

  • You will be leading a small team at heycar Germany and you are the point of contact for our international team members on all P&C related topics

Administration:

  • You are responsible for overseeing all administrative processes and operations in our Berlin office
  • You are the People Business Partner for key business stakeholders
  • You are the first point of contact for employee queries
  • You create employment contracts, addenda, and other legal documents
  • You deliver and drive continuous improvement of our onboarding processes

Recruiting:

  • You steer the leadership talent acquisition in order to ensure the right pace of growth with quality hires
  • You own the complete recruitment cycle: sourcing, interviewing, selection and offer processes and you ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience

Development:

  • You assess, challenge, and amend the organizational infrastructure in line with the company’s direction, identifying missing capabilities and creating opportunities for internal progression

Culture:

  • You ensure a great working environment and continuously come up with ideas on how to improve our company culture
  • You develop best practices for employee retention

Controlling:

  • Produce reports and dashboards on P&C analytics
