What You Bring to The Role.  

  • 7+ years of relevant leadership experience in fast paced environments ideally with a mix ranging from Managing Consulting, E-Commerce, VCs, Start-up, and Automotive – preferably in an international environment 
  • Growing heycar internationally via Partnerships & cooperation’s is a vital part of our strategy. You initiate global partnerships where this makes us faster  
  • You are a highly experienced manager and networker in our market environment and value chain (classifieds, automotive, e-commerce). 
  • You will be a leading member of our interdisciplinary team to drive decisions to go for partnering or making or buying in the complexity of a multi-market environment 
  • You bring in the network to approach our potential partners and the understanding of our potential partners organizational structure – you understand how to talk to them for which topic – you leverage your own and our existing network in the organization 
  • You understand the M&A process from target list to PMI, you are able to oversee internal/external teams for the PMI of a newly acquired company. PMI, LOI, NDA, DD, etc. are one of your spoken languages 
  • You are a strong communicator, have effective networking and influencing skills and the ability to build alliances and to negotiate (with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English) 
  • You create first-level business cases for partnership discussions to answer the question “how could we work together” and collaborate with our internal experts  
  • Pitching and communicating to the C-Level (Group and Market) is part of your daily business

What Your Responsibilities Will Include. 

  • You lead a growing Strategic Partnership Management & PMI team 
  • You are responsible for identifying and evaluating new, potential business and investment partnerships - both locally and internationally - and coordinate this closely with the heycar entities 
  • You build long-term collaborations with partners and investors, gain insights into their business activities and thus sustainably strengthen our growth 
  • You are responsible for the development of operational concepts, potential starting points and use cases within these partnerships 
  • In cooperation with the existing heycar entities you identify new M&A targets 
  • You have an elementary role in the M&A process to acquire new entities that is driven by our M&A department  
  • Post Merger Integration: You and your team are responsible for the initiation and management of all Post Merger activities (100day plan, 2-3 year strategy, etc.) 
  • You will work closely with the senior management team and our C-Levels  
  • You report directly to the Chief Business Development Officer
