Summary

We’re looking for a sales guru who has the ability to lead large sales teams within the FMCG industryBecome the leader of our specialized retail team and shape the strategy of foodspring’s B2B partnerships in amazing stores such as gyms, cross fit boxes, pharmacies and more. Help us become the world’s leader & pioneer in sports nutrition and health by expanding our sales team into existing and new markets.

Team: B2B SALES - SPECIALISED RETAIL

 

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Leading the entire Specialized Retail Sales unit globally at foodspring.

  • Driving the expansion of our footprint in foodspring’s core European markets, open new markets, and enter new continents in the near future.  

  • Leading our business in specialized retail areas such as gyms, cross-fit clubs, and pharmacies. You may also open new channels where you see the potential for the foodspring brand. 

  • Defining an optimal sales force structure per country and channel. This will include Key Account, Field Force, and Leasing Sales Force. 

  • Leading the sales team of approximately 17 amazing people in 7 countries and you will be responsible for compensation and incentive programs that motivate the sales teams to achieve their targets. 

  • Beyond pure selling, you will drive our brand awareness year after year by increasing our visibility in stationary retail channels and at sports events where “finest fitness food” is relevant. 

  • Creating annual budgets and achieve sales goals. 

  • Developing a strategic product management system and implementing a cross-selling strategy between countries and regions. 

 

What we are looking for:

  • A person who has a minimum of 4 years' experience in actively managing and developing businesses as a leader; and 7 years of sales experience in the food, lifestyle, or consumer packaged goods industry. 

  • Someone who preferably has in-depth experience in international sales, portfolio management, and business development as well as a brand management (including events).

  • Your existing network in the international B2B food and beverage/lifestyle industry. Ideally with a focus on the sports nutrition sector. 

  • An in-depth understanding of the FMCG market. 

  • strong leader who knows how to lead and motivate employees working remotely across our markets. Based on your personal expertise you’ll be able to motivate, manage, and mentor staff and keep an effective environment for productive relationships with peers, clients, and management.

  • An understanding of competitive landscapes and activities. 

  • International experience and proven track-record in a competitive B2B environment, with a track-record of success coming from previous experience in large scale FMCG organizations & startup businesses. 

  • The understanding of pricing, promotion, and margins as they pertain to retail and club segments. 

  • You have proven leadership skills with the ability to hire, develop and motivate future leaders of different cultures. 

  • Entrepreneurial thinking and understanding on how to use data to sell.

  • You can lead and steer the Specialized Retail Sales Team and your communication and influencing skills help you navigate easily through the internal organization.
