Your Responsibilities

As a Guidewire Reliability Engineer at FRIDAY you will actively shape our digital future. If you are eager to work on the leading insurance technology of tomorrow at our  Tech Hub in Warsaw, then you’ve come to the right place!

  • You make sure that FRIDAY applications run reliably in all environments 
  • You analyze and improve the security, performance, and scalability of our products
  • You respond to emergency situations
  • You strive for 100% automation: Not only for customer processes but also in software delivery, testing, deployments and operations
  • You use Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter to build insurance products and support core insurance processes
  • You use state-of-the-art technologies from our tech stack: AWS, Kubernetes, Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, Python and React.js
  • With your team, you take ownership of the products you build and continuously work to improve them

Your ideal background and skillset

  • You have at least 4 years of relevant work experience with software development, specifically working with JVM based languages
  • 2 years of experience working with Guidewire products and Gosu
  • You feel comfortable with infrastructure-related challenges
  • Experience working in a maintenance/BAU team in a Guidewire project is preferred
  • You understand web-scale software architectures and application design
  • You like to share and spread your knowledge
