Group Product Manager

Group Product Manager

sennder is a European digital freight forwarder looking for a Group Product Manager to join our Business Solutions Team. The role is based out of the Berlin office and will report to our Director Operations Programs. Do you want to help us shape the future of the logistics industry?

We value humility and we're as interested in your character as we are in your talent. Please apply, even if you feel you only meet part of our listed criteria. Diversity drives innovation and we offer an international and friendly work environment with an energetic company culture. Just be yourself and maybe you’ll bring something valuable to the role we didn't initially think of.

If you’re passionate about taking yourself, sennder, and the logistics industry to the next level, curious, and driven by solving puzzles and influencing how we reach our business goals, then you might be who we’re looking for. What others may consider uncertainty, you see as an opportunity to learn and be proactive, while being a team player and understanding how your personal development intersects with the company’s growth.

As a Group Product Manager you will play a critical role in driving the development and performance of our core brokerage products and the user-experiences that they support.  You will lead a set of Business Solution Teams, each of these teams are responsible for a specific part of our customer value proposition, they obsess about how to improve the customer experience and in turn the engagement and performance of those customers.  These teams work on the basis of ‘single-threaded-ownership’ and are empowered to define and prioritise the initiatives that will best deliver the objectives and key results of that team.

As a Group Product Manager, Order Fulfillment, you will lead a team of 10+ Product and Program managers which are obsessed about automating and improving the core of our operations and of our service to our customers: how we “execute” orders (track and monitor the loads, address our customers’ incidents, collect the necessary documents, settle accessorials and other charges). Thanks to product & process innovations, you will aim to reinvent how freight is operated in order to deliver more value for our customers, and to “scale up” our operations - i.e. handle multiple times today’s volumes - thanks to technology. You will be reporting to the Director of Ops Business Solutions.

sennder is Europe’s digital freight forwarder at the intersection of where technology meets logistics.
