Your Mission

You will be improving the quality of our software and our QA processes, this includes:

  • Assuring functional and non-functional quality requirements for various backend and frontend applications
  • Prevention of early stage implementation issues by having a close collaboration with developers
  • Responsibility for design, maintenance, execution and evaluation of tests
  • Automating test cases for improving regression coverage and safety/reliability
  • Execution of various manual tests with changing requirements
  • Configuration and maintenance of test environments and devices
  • Functional analysis, processing and documentation of problem statements

Your profile

To excel in this position, you need to have:

  • A degree (BA+) in computer science or a completed apprenticeship as IT specialist for application development (IHK) with according professional experience
  • Solid experience in testing backend and frontend applications (web), as well as in real-time communication (audio/video)
  • Working experience with implementing QA measures in agile IT organizations and the integration with CI/CD tools
  • Experience in security and/or performance testing (are desirable)
  • Qualifications in the area of software testing (are beneficial)
  • Experience with the Atlassian suite (are beneficial)
Additionally, you are:

  • Highly motivated and self-reliant
  • A strong communicator and presenter

Your Team

You are part of a cross-functional agile task force, that works in parallel with the sprint-based product development and receives the requirements from the VP RnD. On the one hand, you will be stabilizing and improving our product by assisting the customer support and by developing features based on customer’s inquiries, on the other hand you will improve the overall organization by committing up to one third of your time to research and integrate new technologies and ideas by building prototypes.
