About the Role

ZAGENO’s software engineers are developing the leading-edge B2B marketplace for life sciences. We are seeking engineers who are passionate about marrying data with emerging technologies to join our team.

In this role you will:
  • Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies
  • Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, and mentoring other members of the engineering community
  • Collaborate with technical leads, product managers, and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to buyers and suppliers using Zageno’s marketplace. 
  • Work with the Customer Experience team on delivering first-class user experience.
  • Participate in troubleshooting production issues and work with the team to continuously evaluate and improve the quality, reliability and scalability of the Zageno  platform
  • Continuously evaluate existing engineering processes and recommend improvements
  • Build relationships with architects, technical leads, business owners and other stakeholders across Zageno and influence technology decisions based on data

About You

  • Experience with modern script languages such as Python or Typescript
  • Commercial experience with React, Vue or AngularJS 
  • 3+ years of demonstrated software engineering experience in an agile environment, implementing robust distributed/scalable systems preferably for modern SaaS application
  • Understanding of microservices and hands-on experience using RESTful or GraphQL APIs
  • Experience working with PostgreSQL or other relational databases is a plus.

  • Building awesome frontends is fun for you not a necessity
  • Feeling comfortable with writing features in modern frontend frameworks as well as VanillaJS
  • Previously worked with Python, NodeJS or similar backend stack
  • Previously worked in the eCommerce space
  • Understanding of micro frontend architecture
