Team Description

As an Operations Intern, you will play an important role supporting the creation of our Anticipation business, providing our micro and small merchants, traditionally underserved by credit institutions, access to capital to grow their businesses. You’ll have a critical part in refining and proposing new processes to assure merchants are well-serviced in terms of their anticipations, while keeping the expected repayment performance that allows us to extend the anticipation footprint in a scalable manner. The Anticipation team is characterized by a strong technical bias, being proficient in analysis tools, and constantly challenging the status-quo.

 What you’ll do

  • Build hacks to scale operations at initial stages. Create, update and maintain manual and automatic flows of file interpreting processes.
  • Identify opportunities to increase operational efficiency and/or customer experience.
  • Execute data driven analysis and recommend next steps and strategic initiatives.
  • Raise meaningful insights, questioning our processes and numbers, design scalable solutions and develop projects aiming to impact the lives of millions of small merchants all over Brazil.
  • We expect an ownership behavior and a unquiet mind, always questioning the "status quo" and implementing routine improvements to make us go to the next level.

You’ll be great for this position if

  • You are hands-on: not afraid to get your hands dirty, crunch databases to outstanding insights and update routines;
  • You have advanced Excel skills. It will be your main working tool, so being comfortable with modelling, pivot tables and large data sets is a must. SQL, Python and VBA are pluses;
  • You have strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills to be able to work in an ever-changing environment;
  • You get excited with the entrepreneurial, fast-paced, high-responsibility atmosphere of a growing Fintech.
