Your tasks

We are growing fast in the United States and looking to bring on an experienced Account Executive to sit in our NYC office! This role requires a proven track record in developing new business and closing business in a client-facing capacity.

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from qualified lead to close and mentor our SDR team on strategic outreach habits.
  • Consult with medium and large clients, build relationships, and ensure the logistics of the sale are in place and streamlined.
  • Become an expert of our technology and be responsible for staying up to date on the latest trends in their vertical.
  • Be a master at consultative selling, and be able to identify new opportunities for organic account growth. 
  • Demonstrate impeccable speaking and communication skills. Our AE leads product demos and will be the main point of contact with clients throughout the sales process.
Our Account Executive is the ultimate Consultant for WorkGenius. This role will get to take on the task of closing business set up by our sales development team and be a coach/player for our entire growing salesforce.

What we expect

  • Must have between 5-7 years of successful closing experience in sales.
  • Must have experience selling in a startup environment - track record of hitting revenue targets is a must.
  • Must have prior experience working in an Account Executive capacity handling the entire sales cycle.
  • Some experience with sales tools - ideally salesloft, zoominfo, and/or salesforce.
  • Must have impeccable communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience creating and executing outbound strategies.
  • Great leadership skills - you are a great mentor and understand how to build leaders in your team.
