About the Role

We are looking for a Director, Talent Acquisition, in our team to drive our global talent acquisition strategy. You will own the TA function autonomously, and with your holistic approach, while being hands-on, you’ll foster ZAGENO’s growth and success.

You will be responsible for envisioning, designing, implementing, and delivering an effective talent acquisitions strategy to source and attract the highest caliber talent to support our company’s strategic priorities, growth, employer branding, and candidate experience. You will provide talent acquisition support to leaders across the board as internal clients, supporting their goals to build our business with the right talent.

We're looking for a motivated and driven leader who will help us shape our team, drive the company to the next level, and have the most direct influence on our success.

In this role, you will:
  • Manage the entire recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, candidate selection, scheduling interviews, and closing process
  • Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline
  • Ensure a positive and consistent candidate experience - take ownership of candidate experience by designing & executing C/E initiatives 
  • Work with SVP, People to identify opportunities for efficiencies within the recruiting process
  • Build and lead a strong core recruiting team to achieve our talent attraction goals
  • Develop methods to better forecast hiring needs and identify key recruiting metrics to measure effectiveness and provide data-driven actionable insights
  • Design and deliver a thoughtful and intentional diversity and inclusion strategy for talent acquisition and recruiting practices

About You

  • 8+ years of broad recruiting and business experience required, with at least six years managing and leading a recruiting function, preferably within the tech industry
  • Experience successfully managing complex programs, projects, budgets, and deadlines and working across all levels of leadership
  • Excellent People manager skills with a demonstrated track record of building and leading high performing teams
  • Strong track record demonstrating superior ability to source and attract top talent, assess capability for both technical and interpersonal fit, negotiate offers and seal the deal to deliver well-qualified candidate
  • Strong business acumen and savvy
