DevOps Engineer - Webshops (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities:

  • You take part in the design of the tech infrastructure and data workflow
  • You build and manage a CI/CD pipeline and support our development teams using Ansible and other management tools
  • You are responsible for the setup, backup and monitoring of our Linux web stack (loadbalancer, database servers, etc)
  • You provide monitoring, metrics, alerting and logging for our entire system
  • You work within our Webshops team and support the further development of our DevOps culture

Your profile:

  • You have gained at least 2 years of experience in DevOps, ideally within an e-commerce company
  • You have several years of experience as Linux Administrator or similar
  • You are well versed in the administration and orchestration of CI/CD toolchains (Ansible, Jenkins, Git, containers, etc.)
  • You have experience setting up and implementing monitoring tools (Zabbix, Nagios and similar)
  • You have experience with programming and scripting languages; ideally, you also have some experience with PHP and NodeJS
  • You are comfortable with cloud and on-prem environments
  • Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes is a plus
  • You are a team player with outstanding communication skills but who can also take ownership and work autonomously
  • You speak fluent English; fluency in German is a plus
