Customers interact with it through a series of quick multiple choice questions. With Solvemate, requests are solved in just twelve seconds on average. Thanks to machine learning, the virtual agent also gets smarter over time: By understanding common requests, it anticipates the correct response.

Support request are dealt with automatically, around the clock, and at scale—resulting in faster response times, happier customers, and much lower costs.

As a DevOps Engineer at Solvemate you you will be working cross-functional to help our teams to deploy, operate and monitor our services. By automating workflows and making sure that our platform is running reliably, you will have a big impact on the engineering team of Solvemate.

Your Job

  • Work cross-functional with our development teams and support them with architectural decision

  • Scale our cloud platform with Kubernetes

  • Automate processes all around our stack

  • Have a positive impact on our engineering culture and encourage knowledge sharing

  • Implement Continuous Integration and Delivery processes

  • Shape vision and roadmap of our product 

Your qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience

  • 4 years of system engineering experience, especially with AWS and/or GCP

  • Extensive knowledge about Python, Kubernetes, CI, provisioning systems (e.g. Ansible) and software testing

  • Experience in running distributed systems in a cloud environment

  • Experience in operating RDBMS and NoSQL databases

  • Good knowledge of linux and networking

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with GCP, MongoDB, Redis

  • Solid foundation in algorithms and software design with strong analytical and debugging skills
