What you will do

  • Lead projects into original and unexpected creative solutions, collaborating with PMs, other designers and copywriters to challenge and create the most compelling and successful design as possible
  • Conceptualize and produce innovative design ideas, and pitch them to stakeholders in an engaging and convincing mannerCreate best in class design for a plethora of platforms, from print to digital to experiential to content
  • Create design for Klarna’s communication with merchants, as well as B2B2C/co-marketing campaigns for OOH, digital display ads, social media and events that are globally scalable
  • Take responsibility for the quality and execution of design throughout all phases of a project across a broad range of digital and sometimes physical touchpoints
  • Work with different teams and partners in setting the right tonality in our different communication channels according to our design guidelines and Klarna’s brand DNA
  • Implementing the look and feel of other brands alongside that of Klarna in our co-marketing/B2B2C campaigns 
  • Oversee and be involved in creative production with external partners
  • Manage, direct and review junior designers and their work to ensure the very best quality outputs
  • Facilitate feedback with a positive attitude from different teams while ensuring relevant feedback is captured, properly validated, and implemented
  • Stay up-to-date with industry development and toolsBe an advocate for design best practices

You should have

  • Minimum 6+ years of experience as a graphic designer
  • Experience creating design for aspirational brands who are creatively ambitious, and a strong portfolio that shows bold visual communication, attention to detail, and exquisite craftsmanship both for digital and print
  • Super strong hands-on and conceptual design skills. You love to get your hands dirty and translate high level strategy into well crafted execution
  • Collaboration skills. Our designers have the opportunity to work with experts in various fields and are expected to bring ideas to the table
  • A forward leaning attitude. You go above and beyond to deliver the best design and refine that of others
  • Articulation skills. You present concepts and solutions clearly and effectively to internal stakeholders
  • A can-do attitude. No creative task is too small or too big for you to get in there and execute on it
  • Prioritisation skills and the ability to work and think fast, yet without compromising the quality
  • A passion for what’s next. Our designers have their eyes forward, bringing innovative techniques to how we communicate with audiences
  • A team player who is happy to share ideas, take constructive feedback from teammates and go the extra mile when required
  • Remain flexible and positive if designs need to change or direction is modified
  • Experience in mentoring and managing junior designers
  • Agency background is a big plus
  • Expert knowledge in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Sketch and Google Slides.
  • Knowledge of HTML5 is a plusExceptional English skills in written and verbal communication
