The Klarna corporate communications team is a driven, passionate and fun group of people focused on making Klarna a global brand that is known, respected and loved by consumers, merchants and all relevant stakeholders. We are dedicated and enthusiastic professionals who love being part of the growth journey of one of the most exciting and fastest growing companies in one of the hottest industries right now; fintech. We are looking for someone who wants to join the HQ team to help execute on delivering world-class strategic and creative communication initiatives to bring Klarna’s story to life. You will work to turn complex propositions into simple communication so that our external stakeholders find it easy to understand Klarna’s value proposition. This will involve partnering closely with the finance, marketing, growth, legal and partnerships teams.

What you will do

  • Be part in developing compelling stories and messaging from a global point of view
  • This will include taking part in developing the financial reports in close collaboration with finance teams, as well as the creation of data insights reports to build on Klarna’s thought leadership
  • Create written content based on developed strategies that can be used in external facing channels such as reports, press releases, blog posts and social media
  • Edit and proofread written pieces before publication
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with other teams internally, as well as coordinate with these internal teams to support announcements, initiatives and more
  • Support ongoing projects and initiatives across markets, including managing administrative tasks such as calendar invites, meeting notes etc

Who you are

  • Passionate about this opportunity and enjoy a fast-paced working environment
  • 2-3 years experience preferably in a high-growth and/or payments or banking environment
  • Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English
  • Very organised and can quickly adapt to change and have the ability to proactively prioritize, manage and complete multiple projects within time constraints and with strong attention to detail
  • Proactive and hands-on by nature and motivated by coming up with new thinking that adds value and innovation to the work we do
  • You are confident to be an independent player while also enjoying being part of a team and able to embrace the varied nature of the job
  • Some experience from content creation especially with a financial and/or data driven angle
  • Positive, go–getter attitude with an ‘always on’ mindset
