Who we’re looking for 

Our Targeted Deal Generation team based in Stockholm is looking for a multitalented copywriter. Like everyone at Klarna, we expect you to roll up your sleeves. No job is too big, no job is too small. You’ll know the Klarna brand inside and out, but you’ll quickly dive into our merchant partners to create content that speaks to their retail category and shoppers.


What you will do

We need you to create an effective lead generation. You’ll play an important role in developing concepts and executing ideas to generate awareness and demand for Klarna. You’ll be the decision-maker in what content and copy we want to use in our campaigns; emails, social media and OOO. This means both producing content and copy for everything from longer reports/case studies, to shorter emails and ad copy. And when needed be the project leader for bigger projects and take help from agencies to complete them.

We expect you to

  • Write creative copy and content with well thought through execution. 
  • Continually test and improve our communication and challenge convention. 
  • Fully own your problem space across all touchpoints. 
  • Push the envelope with groundbreaking creative concepts for both small and potentially bigger prospects.  
  • Use your project manager skills from time to time.

Who you are

  • You should know your skills, since you'll be doing hands on work from the get-go. That means we expect you to have completed a few years in the trade and that you really feel that you can contribute to our future growth. You are comfortable working both autonomously and collaboratively, and you are experienced in creative ideation and campaign thinking.

You have

  • 3-5 years experience in copywriting at an agency or brand.  
  • Experience of managing agencies.  
  • Great English language skills. 
  • Experience of ABM marketing and demand generation. 
  • Basic understanding of paid social media campaigns and marketing email campaigns. 
  • Basic understanding of tools like LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Marketo, Google Analytics and Facebook. 
  • The Ability to proactively prioritize, manage and complete multiple projects within time constraints and with strong attention to detail.  
  • A Positive, go-getter attitude; passion for storytelling and helping build a growing brand.
