Who we’re looking for 
Our CRM Journey Automation team based in Stockholm is looking for a creative copywriter.  

What you will do
Lead, guide and educate our consumer with the best possible Klarna experience—providing five-star CRM communication. And like everyone else at Klarna, we expect you to get down to it. And get on with it. No job is too big, no job is too small. You’ll play an important role in developing ideas and marketing communication for existing and new Klarna products and features. You’ll also contribute to strategy – creating new ways for marketing all of Klarnas products throughout the consumer journey. Your writing will be used for traditional CRM channels like e-mail, push notification, in-app messages, SMS etcetera. In other words, you need to have the ability to write engaging copy that converts.

Who you are
You are confident in your copywriting skills and have a data-driven approach to your working process. You have a background from an agency or in-house agency and you really feel that you can contribute to our future growth. You have no problem testing something that is 90% finished, seeing iterations as part of the creative process. And you’re comfortable working both autonomously and collaboratively.

We expect you to

  • Fully own content used in the consumer journey touchpoints
  • Write creative copy with well thought through execution
  • be comfortable going from research to idea and implementation on your own
  • Quickly go from thought to ”finished” copy
  • Write short and engaging copy rather than long brand-building epos
  • Continually test and improve our communication and challenge convention
  • Have an interest in UX in general and UX-writing in particular
  • Be comfortable with multiple iterations and be prepared to test and learn
  • Be responsible for keeping and ensuring Klarna's brand and tone of voice together with other copywriters and designers

You should have

  • At least 4-5 years experience as a copywriter/content creator
  • Sufficient experience to be comfortable working with both strategic and tactical CRM communication
  • English as a mother tongue (or is at that level)
  • Experience of writing for many different channels/formats, specifically CRM channels
  • A positive, go-getter attitude
  • A passion for storytelling and helping build a growing brand.
