Who we’re looking for
Do you love advertising, and do you love the craft of copywriting even more? Then we’re off to a great start. As a copywriter at Klarna, you’ll play an important role in making our campaigns come to life. Now is the chance to become a true Klarnaut.

What you will do
To become the best of the best we are divided into several different production teams. Each one of them with specific responsibilities and goals. One of these teams now needs to boost its capacity with yet another superpowered native English copywriter. Hopefully, you’re the one that we’re looking for. 

We can assure you that there won’t be a day without inspirational, creative and demanding challenges to solve. But rest assured that you’re not alone on this. You’ll be working together with amazing colleagues that are always there for each other. 

The tasks at hand vary from day to day. One day you’re contributing to the next global brand campaign, and the next you’re writing an internal newsletter for a newly launched product. If you've been working as a copywriter for a while you know exactly what we mean by this. But just to be clear, the copywriter we’re looking for needs to take every opportunity to show copywriting skills at the highest level no matter what the project is about. You need to show up for work every day and do your utmost to blow us all away with your skills.

You will

  • Use your skills on all projects that come your way
  • Follow Klarna guidelines on tonality and design
  • Drive brand consistency and quality in execution in all touchpoints
  • Be comfortable with multiple iterations and be prepared to test and learn
  • Create best practices and be able to resonate and explain your thinking
  • Fully own your problem space across all touchpoints
  • Contribute to Klarna glossaries and style guides
  • And maybe the most important thing of it all. You need to be flexible and open to quick changes and iterations - all to find the best solution to every challenge.

You should have

  • At least 4-5 years in the trade
  • Sufficient experience to be comfortable and confident enough to both work on your own and in a team
  • English as a mother tongue (or is at that level)
  • Experience of writing for many different channels/formats
  • A positive, go-getter attitude
  • A passion for storytelling and helping build a growing brand.
