We’re looking for a Content Manager to join our Banking Team to create engaging and compelling content and to ensure SumUp is the first choice for small businesses when looking for a business current account.
This role sits within the Merchant Bank Tribe, who are responsible for building, growing & supporting SumUp’s new banking products. Within the tribe, you will join the Growth Marketing Team, a cross-functional team including brand design, content, online marketing and CRM. Together we define strategies to increase the adoption and usage of SumUp’s banking products, and validate these strategies through regular experimentation. What you’ll do
- Work with the Content and Growth teams to set the vision for our content strategy in several markets and drive cohesive narratives across multiple platforms and touchpoints.
- Identify new content opportunities and needs for our banking products, whilst creating and maintaining a content calendar across different channels.
- Create fresh and compelling ideas and content for all our marketing channels, including emails, blogs, social media, performance marketing campaigns, and website pages.
- Ensure we present a consistent brand across our content.
- Closely monitor the performance of your content and adapt your strategy accordingly.
- Monitor the content strategy of relevant competitors, stay on top of the latest industry trends and share them with the overall Marketing team.
- Come up with innovative ideas, test them out through experimentation and implement them with relevant target audiences in the brand and/or promo campaigns.
You’ll be great for this role if
- You have native-level English speaking and writing abilities.
- You have a proven track record of relevant experience in Content Marketing or Communications.
- You are able to generate concepts for the initiatives, and manage from idea creation to the actual copy implementation.
- Your daily work is informed by a thorough knowledge of SEO best practices.
- You have a good analytical understanding and are able to make content decisions based on data.
- You have an editor’s eye with the ability to craft engaging yet concise content.
- You have a hands-on mentality and pay close attention to detail.
- You have the ability to work across multiple cultures and support local digital needs.
- You are able to collaborate, but also run your own research to generate content for different target audiences and prove it through A/B experiments.
