Compensation & Benefits Manager

sennder is a European digital freight forwarder looking for a Compensation & Benefits Manager to join our people team.

As a Comp & Ben Manager you’ll get the chance to build sennder’s C&B plans from scratch. You’ll develop sennder’s C&B strategy and translate this into first-class C&B initiatives while balancing local regulations and our global policies. As our compensation and benefits expert, you will lead many C&B projects across the company, executing them to their fullest potential. This means you will design, implement, and communicate all C&B initiatives and ensure policies are followed. You will also work on the recurring C&B processes that need to be checked and be adjusted where necessary. Next to working on long-term and recurring global C&B projects, we’ll also look to you to advise on compensation matters.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL ...

  • Create a global innovative C&B vision and strategy, suitable for all roles up to C-level
  • Create consistent compensation guidelines, suitable for each location and current legislation
  • Develop a sustainable global compensation strategy for further growth and come up with appropriate (and innovative)market specific initiatives
  • Conduct ongoing research into emerging C&B trends, issues, and best practices and keep up with new trends and best practices in the field
  • Lead and execute all global compensation projects (e.g. Global salary frameworks, performance-based increases, secondary benefits, pension and many, many more)
  • Coordinate and execute the full C&B processes (e.g. annual increase process, benchmark, new benefits introduction, working closely together with Finance/Legal on designing and executing employee equity/stock programs incl admin etc.)
  • Design, develop and implement attractive global compensation policies (performance, job descriptions, promotions, growth)
  • Manage the total global rewards package and take responsibility for researching, establishing, and maintaining our policies
  • Assess employee’s C&B needs by conducting organizational surveys and informing employees about any changes.
  • Calculate, monitor and present the (financial) impact of every C&B initiatives
  • Conduct salary and labor market research to define benchmarks.

PREFERABLY YOU ARE ...

  • Experienced in creating and executing a total rewards strategy across multiple locations
  • Knowledgeable of rolling out best practices of common and world-wide C&B initiatives
  • Experienced in building or leading projects from design to finish
  • Highly analytical and can demonstrate good judgment
  • Able to turn complex data into recommendations that support further decision making
  • An excellent communicator and able to build and present a business case
  • A natural problem-solver with a hands-on mentality
