The UK SME team is responsible for driving forward Klarna's rapid expansion in the UK market. So far in 2020 the team have brought live 800 new merchants and signed over 1000. Our in year new sales vol for 2020 surpassed our total 2019 volume in May, and we will definitely more than double that number this year.
We're a fast-paced, quick learning, finely tuned team. We make use of sales tools and automation to help achieve our numbers. The SME team gives you exposure to sales, delivery, partners, marketing, and account management and is a brilliant place to start your commercial career.
Your primary role will be to call on inbound prospects, pitch, and gather contracts. You will also be required to hit an in-year sales volume target. Goals are achieved by outbound calling and emailing efforts in conjunction with the inbound leads (which there is a lot).
