As the second employee of NavVis China in Shanghai, you will have the unique opportunity to help launch an established European venture-backed startup’s solution even further into the Greater China market. NavVis has created the world’s most advanced 3D mapping system, with the ultimate goal of enabling indoor navigation throughout building interiors across the globe. Working closely with the China leadership team, the global NavVis Sales team, and our Customer Experience and Technical Account Experts, you will be a strong force in bringing this disruptive technology to Chinese mapping and laser scanning partners!

NavVis is a high-growth VC-backed high tech startup headquartered in Munich. Founded in 2013, NavVis has grown into a team of close to 150 professionals serving partners and blue chip customers in more than 25 countries. Our unique and proprietary tech (HW + SW) aims to bring location-based services into buildings (think about it like maps + GPS which have laid the foundation for digitizing almost every industrial process outdoors.) You will work on:

  • Driving the NavVis product and service expansion among channel partners in the Chinese market
  • Creating channel recruitment & go-to-market plans for new partners & existing partners, pertaining to their target industry/market and drive growth & win-win relationships
  • Presenting to a wide variety of surveying and laser scanning clients, as well as Solution Partners, who will provide their end-customers with the next generation of indoor digitization
  • Leveraging your network of potential customers, as well as drawing upon a wide set of existing leads (generated by our marketing / lead generation channels)
  • Being the trusted advisor & main point of contact to our partners from the initial contact all the way to the sale
  • Team work with the Enterprise Sales Manager & Technical Account Managers to jointly go-to-market & win customers

You have:

  • Experience in B2B solution/channel sales from a technology and/or software focused firm, ideally with an industry focus on Surveying, Facility Management, Automotive, Real Estate, and Construction
  • A network of potential customer contacts, and are creative and resourceful in identifying new customer leads as well as generating further potential with existing customers
  • Exceptionally strong communication skills (spoken and written), as well as strong listening skills to understand and develop use cases further with customers
  • The ability to present yourself in a senior way, enabling you to lead a conversation with C-level clients all the way up to CEOs
  • Strong tech affinity, enabling you to understand and explain to customers what can be done with NavVis technology
  • You have fluent, native-speaker-like spoken and written English and Mandarin skills and ideally a strong knowledge in Cantonese
  • Exceptionally strong execution: You are very comfortable as a 'hunter' & "farmer" generating new customer business & developing existing partners. You skillfully manage your sales pipeline, produce good and reliable forecasts, and are an exceptionally strong deal closer with a high conversion rate
  • Willingness to travel extensively across your region to meet customers in person
  • Open to spending a few months in our Munich headquarters for on-boarding and then being based permanently in Shanghai, China
