Business Operations Working Student

As a core member of the Operations team, you will be directly involved in the growth of our vision for supplier discovery. Your responsibility is to onboard identified suppliers to sourcing needs within the scoutbee platform. You will be accountable for supplier platform adoption through overseeing new supplier onboarding and engagement. You will manage a diverse set of suppliers, and as the first touch point in a customer’s experience after contact, you will be a critical player in driving long-term customer success and demonstrating the value of the scoutbee solution. The ideal candidate has experience in SaaS, strong verbal communication skills and attention to detail, with an outstanding aptitude for applying technology to achieve business results.

Your role in our beehive 

  • Increase supplier adoption through networking, calls and emails to customers worldwide
  • Become an expert on the scoutbee solution and onboard suppliers with varying levels of sophistication
  • Assist customers to navigate the technical aspects of the onboarding and sign up process
  • Identify and drive efficiency in the onboarding process and process improvements on an ongoing basis
  • Collaborate with Regional Planners to ensure smooth hand-offs before and after the supplier onboarding phase
  • Assist suppliers to quickly identify potential issues and escalate them appropriately to ensure the best possible experience during the onboarding period

Day-to-day tasks and expectations

  • You will learn all the project related information (requirements) via our CRM system
  • You will be assigned with a list of suppliers, who haven’t heard about scoutbee, with corporate contact email and phone number
  • You will be cold calling them and identify the responsible person in the supplier company
  • You will introduce them what scoutbee does and what the scouting product/service is about
  • You will assist them in any technical difficulties and ensure their positive user experiences
  • You will leverage your sales tactic to drive supplier engagement (conversion)
  • You will identify their potential concerns or objections and escalate it internally

What you bring to our beehive 

  • Currently enrol in a German university at the Bachelor’s or Master’s level.
  • Fluent in English and at least one other additional language - German, Italian, Turkish, Czech, Polish or Hungarian. Any other additional languages are an advantage
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills & proven success in cross-functional collaboration
  • Proficient with Excel, comfortable with CRM systems or SaaS support software is a plus
  • Desire to focus on customer satisfaction and the customer experience, and a willingness to be its internal advocate.
