Your Tasks

With both an open marketplace and an enterprise offering that integrates with a company’s ordering system, we serve customers of all sizes. We’re looking for a driven individual to support ZAGENO’s growth across small to midsize biotechs. You will seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with these potential customers. You’ll work closely and learn from our Head of Sales, Outbound Sales Director, and Sales Representatives. We believe this role is one of the best ways to accelerate your early career at a leading startup. We invest in and train our team, and are focused on career growth and opportunities.

You Will:

  • Build new revenue opportunities by conducting high volume prospecting to qualify leads through calls, emails, and other strategies
  • Learn to articulate ZAGENO’s value proposition, optimize messaging based on reception, and identify methods of establishing trust with prospects
  • Work closely with our sales team to develop and implement strategy and process
  • Effectively and accurately tracking activity in our database and expand on our prospect list through market research and qualification
  • Consistently achieve and exceed monthly quotas and goals
  • Schedule prospect meetings for further assess business and potential for purchasing through ZAGENO

Your Profile

  • Have a BA/BS or equivalent; 0-1 years in a sales role
  • Are excited and motivated by exceeding goals
  • Like working in a dynamic, self-starting environment
  • Have excellent written/verbal interpersonal skills
  • Have a natural tendency to ask thoughtful questions to uncover a prospect’s current purchasing process
  • Are collaborative, standout colleague who is upbeat, hardworking, and ambitious
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Know about or have worked with productivity tools
  • Are coachable and want to learn and grow as you launch your career
  • Have a passion or strong connection to life sciences
