Business development Manager: Partner network (w/m/d)
The partnership network is at the heart of everything our solutions builds on. We are establishing the biggest consolidated logistics network to serve the transport needs from our global customers. As our partnership manager, your role will be to identify and quantify promising opportunities to grow our network across geographies, and value pools, to evaluate and negotiate large strategic partnerships, as well as to moderate the discussion with strategic stakeholders. 
Being the operational “face” of Forwardize and creating relations with our partners, you are a natural people person. You bring pro-activity, organization, and planning that drives operational excellence.
Your responsibilities in a nutshell 

  • Work with the founding team on developing growth strategies focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction  
  • Research, identify and develop new business opportunities, including new product features, network growth partnerships or expanding into new trade corridors
  • Test the potential of new business opportunities with existing and prospective customers 
  • Establish relations with prospective partners and convince them of our value-creation potential   
  • Plan the implementation of new business opportunities and align it with our dev. team


Your profile

What we're looking for

  • 2+ years of work in a similar strategic role at a top tier logistics company, a hyper growth startup, in a strategy consulting firm or in a VC/PE background
  • Project management skills, a strong hands-on mentality and a talent for negotiation   
  • You like to take responsibility and develop yourself further  
  • You enjoy working in a dynamic cross-functional team  
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and German
