Growth Hacker Business Development (m/f/d)

Zeitgold was founded in 2015 and is based in Berlin and Tel Aviv. Co-founders Stefan Jeschonnek (MBA, Stanford) and Jan Deepen (PhD, WHU) previously co-founded fintech company SumUp. Stefan and Jan teamed up with Kobi Eldar (8200 alum), who led a cybersecurity unit in the Israeli Defense Forces and had leading roles in several Israeli tech companies.
We are backed by Battery Ventures (investor also in GoEuro and N26), Holtzbrinck Ventures (investor also in Zalando, Flixbus and SumUp) and a number of well-known business angels from Germany, Silicon Valley, and Israel.

Your Role

  • You work closely with our founder to drive important strategic projects surrounding further business development
  • Together with our founder, you drive the selection and negotiation with new strategic partners
  • You independently manage our strategic partnerships as well as define and drive campaigns with our partners’ operational managers
  • You own our partnership analytics through the data-driven tools and dashboards you built to evaluate partnership performance and generated leads
  • You identify and evaluate new product ideas to complement our existing product portfolio through market screenings, in-depth customer interviews and data analysis
  • You develop and run prototypes of selected new product ideas to test market feasibility
  • You explore new revenue streams, research related requirements as well as support our founder in bringing those ideas into a detailed, evaluable concept

Your profile

  • You have relevant work experience in business or product development, preferably in a startup or consulting environment
  • You have graduated from a top university or business school with excellent results, majoring in Business Administration, Engineering or a similar degree
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and love to roll-up your sleeves to bring your ideas to live
  • You enjoy communicating with and managing different stakeholders as well putting yourself into the customers’ shoes
  • You have a data-driven mindset and excellent analytical skill that help you in in-depth investigations of partnerships, customer needs and business ideas
  • You can juggle several tasks at once without losing oversight and work in a very structured way
  • You genuinely care about small businesses, the people who run them, and solving the particular problems they face
  • You are fluent in German and English
