Business Development Intern

At Yilu - the first start-up founded by the Lufthansa Group - we want to change the way people travel. Our goal is to revolutionise the entire travel process, from the point of departure to the final destination, to provide customers with a connected, convenient and enjoyable experience while creating new growth opportunities for travel companies. To achieve this, we are developing a smart end-to-end travel platform that connects selected travel, mobility and service providers along the travel chain. 

We are looking for a Business Development Intern to join our motivated team in Berlin.

What you’ll be working on

  • Support the weekly and monthly reporting and help drawing conclusions for assistance in decision making
  • Source and approach leads across multiple platforms including phone, email and potentially other communication channels
  • Collect and understand customer feedback and help to identify pragmatic solutions when serving (B2B) customer needs
  • Support resolving support tickets related to connectivity or integration
  • Manage frequently asked questions and create supporting documents for our existing partnerships
  • Help to resolve issues and follow up in a timely and effective manner
  • As an active member of our Commercial team, you will also work closely together with other functions such as the product & engineering teams

What you’ll bring along

  • Graduate or currently enrolled, pursuing a degree in Business, Management, Accounting or Marketing with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Prior relevant experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to represent Yilu externally in a highly professional way
  • Curious, detail-oriented and possesses analytical skills with the ability to empathize with our customer groups
  • Love for partners and customers well being and positive experience with Yilu
  • Independent, highly motivated and a desire to grow within a collaborative, inspiring teamwork environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software, such as Word and Excel
  • Fluency in English is a must, German is a plus
