The Job
As Business Analyst you will be joining the Lending Tribe, working to provide our micro and small merchants, traditionally underserved by credit institutions, access to capital to grow their businesses. We are injecting capital into millions of existing and new merchants' businesses to foster their sustainability and growth through credit products! We empower our people to own their work end-to-end, so you’ll be leading the product from a design perspective, having a holistic approach on the experience, from discovery to delivery - always keeping in mind our customers and their interests! That means having a head for strategy as well as having the skills and willingness to roll up your sleeves and get involved with the details of making great products.As we put the merchant at the center of every decision we need a strong leader that constantly advocates and drives a human-centered design approach. You will support the team by applying your craft, delivering on our commitment to design excellence, while also driving the evolution of our processes and guidelines.
What you’ll be doing
- Improve and implement new analysis to support servicing and collection processes
- Analyse and optimise operational success rates to achieve business plan targets
- Create a structured information deck that supports decision and quicker reactions to control the portfolio performance
- Create dashboards and metrics to drive decisions and discussions around the product
- Curious and motivated to make new findings and improve performance and customer experience
- Willing to improve the operational steps focusing in performance impacts
- Customer centric, builds value propositions based on testing
- Fully understand current servicing and collection process
- Understand the BR lending product and value proposition
- Having metrics and dashboards to have a broader view of operational success rates
- Enable a dashboard with operational metrics that reflects routines
- Monitoring fluctuations in our KPIs that can indicate an operational issue or a market reaction
- Identify opportunities to improve performance and optimize operational success rates
- Bring to the team potential improvements to the servicing and collection process
You'll be great for this role if:
- Have strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Verbal/written communication in English and Portuguese
- 2+ yrs of professional experience and 1+ yrs in Business Analyst position
- Strong excel and SQL knowledge
- Experiment-Driven / Data-Driven
- Curiosity for the next challenge to solve
- Willingness to find non-obvious reasons and to suggest new strategies
