Who you are: We are looking for an experienced and passionate Brand Partnerships Marketing Manager to join our rapidly expanding North America B2C marketing team -- a high-performing, consumer-obsessed group responsible for making Klarna a world-famous brand that is known, respected, and loved by consumers and retailers. The person who will be successful in this role should have extensive knowledge and strong experience in delivering complex, multi-faceted brand partnerships that have impacted and contributed to building world-class brands and putting the consumer at the heart of the work. Additionally, a successful marketer at Klarna should have hands-on experience in working cross-functionally, have a great eye for creative story-telling, be high on talent, be low on ego, genuinely want to make a change while obsessing over our consumers, and also have a passion for pop-culture and trends. You also love problem-solving, want the ability to think creatively, and strive to challenge the status quo, while executing with the highest quality.
What you will do: The Brand Partnerships Marketing Manager will be responsible for building and executing our world-class brand partnerships and activations across key passion points (ie: Sports, Entertainment, etc.), guiding the Klarna brand across marketing touchpoints. Core to this role is driving the development, planning, day-to-day management, and execution of high-priority brand partnerships. The ability to combine creativity and business acumen to elevate Klarna’s brand equity with our consumers is a requirement. The work you do will solve a scoped problem-space with defined KPIs, and you will continuously seek improvements in performance and quality. You will regularly collaborate with internal stakeholders such as media, PR, influencer/content leads, and external agencies to develop and execute marketing plans.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and embrace Klarna’s startup culture while having a strong willingness to take on the challenges of a fast-growing company and environment. Paired with the ability to quickly adapt to change, prioritize work effectively, and take personal ownership of hands-on delivery. You will be expected to be creatively driven and have a pulse on culture and consumer behavior.
