The Role
Join our international BI team and contribute to shaping the future of thousands of HR teams and organizations across Europe. As part of our core team, you will have the mission to enable better decisions.
How? By creating value out of data and establishing a data-driven culture at Personio. Moreover, you are a consultant for others when it comes to using Tableau or providing best practices around KPI definition and data analysis. Last but not least, you enable business users to gain insights out of data themselves to reduce bottlenecks in the core team and to allow yourself and your peers more time for advanced analysis projects.
Your tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Leverage Tableau, our BI platform to enhance, build and redesign existing dashboards and assure we are always up-to-date
- Collaborate with stakeholders and analysts across our data, product, sales, marketing, and operations functions
- Support and train other analysts on ideal data visualization, presentation, storytelling, and best practices around everyday data work
- Design custom reports and interfaces to address specific needs on a company level
- Collaborate with data engineers to utilize and extend our data platform
- Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making within the company by making company KPIs accessible for everyone and by enabling others to get insights on their own via self-service tools;
- Proactively create insights on your own which result in action items for your stakeholders
- Engage in our data circle and share best practices about tools and processes
What you need to succeed
- University degree, preferably in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Applied Math, Econ, Statistics, Eng, CS) and experience in applied statistics
- 3+ years experience in a data analytics role, preferably in a SaaS, Subscription or B2B environment, providing insights for multiple departments
- Profound understanding of defining company-wide KPIs, data modelling and building valuable dashboards in a scalable environment
- Strong SQL skills and 1+ year experience with BI/Visualization tools like Tableau or Looker
- Experience in enabling teams to get relevant data and to make data based decisions on their own
- An analytical mindset, with the intellectual curiosity to search for context and insights behind the numbers
- Good communication skills and the ability to share your data observations with stakeholders on all levels
- Good networker to identify new projects with stakeholders and to foster knowledge sharing amongst your peers
