We are looking for an ambitious marketer to join our rapidly expanding Sales Success team. The marketing function within the Sales Success team at Klarna is responsible for creating and owning Klarna’s global pitch and market positioning – including developing the strategy, crafting the narrative, and producing deliverables used by the entire global organization. This is a unique opportunity to have exposure to every aspect of Klarna’s business, and collaborate closely with members of Klarna’s CXO group and senior leadership on our global strategy. The individual who will be successful in this role should have experience working in a Sales Enablement role, creating and producing sales and marketing materials. Additionally, a successful individual will have extensive knowledge, and direct experience, in crafting narratives and developing value propositions and messaging for mass distribution. 

What you will do

  • You'll support in crafting Klarna’s positioning, messaging, and in the production of marketing and sales assets globally. This is a unique opportunity to have exposure to every aspect of the business, and partner closely with members of the CXO group on Klarna’s global strategy. You’ll make an impact on Klarna’s expansion, growth, and future while being part of a highly ambitious team that has lots of fun!

Responsibilities

  • Support in developing and enhancing Klarna’s overarching narrative and value proposition, as manifested in Klarna’s global pitch and market positioning. 
  • Participate in workshops and feedback sessions with senior stakeholders across the company, often at the CXO level, on Klarna’s global merchant strategy, including refining our value proposition, identifying opportunities, and elevating the conversation with retailers. 
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner - and an effective point of contact - to cross-functional teams and leaders across the organization, in an effort to craft narratives that fit and strengthen the overall value proposition. 
  • Support in building out, and packaging up, marketing assets and messages for our products and services. 
  • Partner closely with analysts to gather and prioritize proof points to support our claims and strengthen our content - including market research and competitive data and intel.
  • Partner closely with designers on the creative output, providing input and directive on overall look and feel of the deliverables. 
  • Craft, package, and distribute marketing and sales materials.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of B2B marketing experience, with relevant background experience working within a Sales Enablement role.
  • Experience crafting a compelling story and message to external audiences.
  • Ability to translate high level strategy into well crafted execution. 
  • An effective communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders. 
  • Strong project management skills.
  • You’re no stranger to spreadsheets, to-do lists, or deadlines.
  • A skilled multi-tasker who is able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, oftentimes varying in scope and level of output. 
  • Collaboration skills.
  • You will work with experts in various fields and are expected to bring ideas to the table.
  •  A can-do attitude.
  • No task is too small or too big for you to take on and deliver. 
  • A team player who thrives in collaborative environments.
  • A natural problem-solver.
  • You don’t take no for an answer – you are able to navigate roadblocks and pride yourself on being solution-oriented. 
  • Exceptional English skills, both in written and verbal communication.
  • Knowledge of Google slides and copywriting experience is a plus. 
  • This position requires flexibility to work within European timezones when needed.
