Automotive Battery Integration Engineer (f/m/x)

Your Tasks

  • You are part of our battery team and actively and responsibly shape a future in which every car is electric and shared
  • You are responsible for the integration of our high voltage battery system into the target vehicle(s) in development and testing
  • Coordination of all activities regarding high voltage and low voltage integration, i.e. device transmittal, interfaces, … according to different use cases of the vehicle
  • Select and create relevant requirements per program and gain agreements to the requirements from suppliers
  • Plan and create the design verification plans considering functional safety ISO 26262 and other requirements
  • Carry out vehicle and test board level testing and produce test reports; drive failure identification and elimination
  • Participate in design reviews to ensure that our requirements are adhered too
  • Follow up on open issues to bring to a satisfactory conclusion
  • Participate in durability and reliability reviews
  • Review the DFMEA with suppliers and assist in updating the documents

Our Requirements

  • You have gained a technical university degree, preferably in Electric, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering, ideally with a solid knowledge on high voltage batteries and their integration
  • You have several years of professional experience in the field of vehicle electric, electronics and/or their integration into vehicle
  • Solid understanding of high voltage battery systems and the surrounding electrical systems on high and low voltage level
  • Good working knowledge of electrical test equipment (oscilloscope, multi-meter, power supply, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of APQP advantageous 
  • You are fluent in English (fluent in German is a plus)
