Your tasks

As a Support Engineer

  • You perform overall maintenance and administration of Atlassian applications and monitor Atlassian applications health
  • You handle service ticket queue to ensure timely resolution for end-user issues and resolve users’ requests
  • You are responsible for an incident solution at the level of business process logic
  • You transfer defects to tech team or other vendors if needed  
  • You give recommendations for users and implement workarounds

As a part of the team:

  • You support and maintenance activities of the Project Management Office platform based on Atlassian products.  
  • You work with our Project Management Office and support stakeholders in designing, developing, and maintaining workflows.  
  • You work closely with the relevant teams to optimize workflows and ensure necessary data is accessible and clean. 

Requirements

  • 3+ years of JIRA Administration experience, supporting small to medium environments  
  • 1+ year working as a support engineer  
  • Subject matter expert for Atlassian Cloud (Jira Software, Jira Service Desk, Confluence)  
  • Solid understanding and managing all aspects of the Atlassian toolchain including workflows, custom fields, schemes, permissions, add-ons, and integrations 
  • Manage the confluence environment and create spaces, pages, page templates as necessary  
  • Demonstrated experience in installing, configuring and administering Atlassian plugins with experience configuring and maintaining application links between JIRA and Confluence and other applications  
  • A motivated self-starting personality, able to work independently while maintaining patience with constant interruptions and multiple requests
