Analytics Manager, Acquisition/Growth

About Klarna

Klarna was founded in Stockholm, Sweden in 2005. Since then we've changed the banking industry forever. And now we're creating the world's smoothest shopping experience. We serve over 90 million consumers worldwide, and partner with 250,000 merchants – with a new merchant joining us every 8 minutes. Including some of the world's leading brands, such as H&M, ASOS, IKEA, Adidas, Samsung and Lufthansa. Our offices are spread over 17 different markets, hosted by 5000+ employees from 100+ nationalities.

The team:
The Share of Checkout Team has the mission to increase Karna's share of checkout through customer behavior analysis and iterative hypothesis-driven experimentation of marketing

The role:
As an Analytics Manager on Klarna's Share of Checkout team you'll work at the intersection of Marketing Analytics, Data Science, and Growth Marketing. We are looking to hire two individuals to support this team so you'll be responsible for one of the following areas:

1) Uncover the set of product usage behavior(s) that separates our customers who find value in our products (i.e., those with high engagement) from those who don’t so we can optimize and promote those sets of behaviors. Draw in future audience for more exponential product growth by defining the right groupings and cohorts for these potential users and the challenge(s) grouping faces in adopting our product offering over time, moving them closer to being a ‘core’ user, i.e., have tried but can't get over the hump.

2) Manage marketing acquisition budgets to ensure Klarna funds are invested appropriately and support mutually beneficial acquisition tactics that drive the use of Klarna payment methods with a measurable ROI; Partner with merchants to plan and execute marketing acquisition activities including promotions and messaging on merchant owned channels; Develop and maintain financial projections from marketing activities on merchant owned channels, such as promotions and website / social messaging; Provide marketing expertise and support to merchants on how to best use and message Klarna in their own channels to amplify sales.

These findings will be shared with Product, Commercial, and Marketing teams to drive growth in current and new markets.

Location: New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Columbus.
