As a Senior Analyst on the Communications studio team, you will work closely with product managers and engineers to optimize and draw insights from Klarna’s post-purchase communications to customers. This role will be an intersection between analytics, data, marketing, and customer obsession - we’re as excited about it as you are! 

Location: New York City or Columbus, OH

What you will do:

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, data scientists, and engineers to optimize and develop best practice design, configurations, and templates for our customer communications
  • Use analysis and insights to drive alignment on messaging, usability, look, tone, and brand identity for all our communications templates
  • Define the requirements for each communication from a data perspective to ensure that everything is properly connected. This will require collaboration across various teams on data architecture and processes so we get the right data
  • Analyze UX and customer journeys to identify opportunities and improvement areas
  • Perform experimentation to continuously improve features and design
  • Generate insights around consumer touchpoints regarding digital and physical communication, such as quantifying the value of different consumer actions and understanding consumer behavior
  • Support decision making and analysis of data such as dynamic marketing ads, content impressions, post-purchase data, and marketing blocks
  • Analyze financial performance and understand the unit economics and contribution
  • Be a driving force in product development, backing up suggestions with evidence
  • Develop, track and monitor actionable KPIs and metrics, using data and analytics to deep dive into root causes and recommend solutions
  • Report on product performance to senior executives and other stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • 3-6 years of applicable work experience in a marketing analyst (or similar) role

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in working with customer communications across different digital and physical channels
  • Knowledge of marketing subjects and customer behavior analysis
  • Strong attention to detail and experience in using structured approaches to problem-solving
  • Excellent at communicating and presenting insights from data analysis to any type of audience
  • Experience with performing data extraction and manipulation, as well as programming languages is a plus (SQL, R, Python, MatLab, Java, C# etc…)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (such as QlikSense and Tableau)
