What you will do:
We are the affiliate monetization team and our vision is to become a global, tier-one performance marketing publisher. Our mission is to build deep and trusted performance partnerships with global brands around the world that drive traffic and sales conversions for our partners and an additional revenue stream for Klarna.
Due to our continued growth, we are now looking to expand our team outside of our Swedish head office and are looking for a Senior Digital Performance Marketing Manager in our New York office. In this role you will be a key member of our overall Consumer Growth and Loyalty team and will be charged with leveraging your skills and experience to drive our global affiliate strategy locally in the US.
We are looking for someone with deep experience in performance marketing, an analytical mindset and a strong interest in harnessing the power of performance and partner marketing to deliver measurable outcomes.
In this role you will:
•Create annual and quarterly performance marketing plans focused on actionable and measurable initiatives that align with targets, quarterly budgets and overall business strategy.
•Build and implement performance partnerships with key local retail partners as well as expand global performance partnerships out to the Australian market.
•Test and optimise new performance marketing programs.
•Effectively manage relationships with affiliate networks and with key merchant partners.
•Work closely with consumer marketing teams, B2B marketing teams, shopping app teams, commercial teams and merchant success teams to ensure performance marketing strategies and outcomes are aligned and support business goals.
•Manage performance against forecasts and budgets, ensuring effective measurement & insight is in place for all partner marketing activities to enable continuous optimisation and regular performance reporting.
•Regularly report back to both the global affiliate team as well as the local leadership team on program performance.
•Explore third-party partners and platforms that can assist in driving customer and merchant acquisition.
You should have:
•Minimum 5 years in digital, performance marketing, B2B enterprise marketing, preferably in the partner or affiliate marketing space.
•Demonstrated experience in managing commercial or marketing partnerships, including performance management and/or account-based servicing. Proven track record of planning, executing and optimising partner marketing programs.
•Experience managing direct relationships with merchants, digital agency partners, affiliate network partners, in negotiating, strategising and executing programs.
•Great communication and analytics skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
•Willing to roll-up sleeves and do whatever it takes to succeed - action and result oriented.
•Strong analytical skills to determine ROI of marketing programs - comfortable working with large data sets, see patterns and identify trends.
•Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous marketing programs.
