We are in rapid growth mode in the US and are looking for a bright and enthusiastic social media manager to join our social team in the US. This role sits within the B2C Marketing discipline and will work very closely with the US Social Lead and other cross-functional teams to establish strategies -- inclusive of visual storytelling, social plans to support our campaigns, community building, paid social, and brand engagement.
Klarna is looking for an individual with a deep understanding of social media strategy, community management, organic content planning, paid creative best practice, and must have a pulse on current events and culture. The ability to combine creativity and business acumen in order to elevate Klarna’s brand equity across with our consumers and partners is also a requirement. Prior experience managing social media for a brand, whether agency or brand-side, is a must. The successful candidate will work closely with our agency and other team members across ideation, planning, execution, and reporting.
The right candidate enjoys a high pace environment, can quickly adapt to change and has the ability to prioritize your work effectively, while taking personal ownership of hands-on delivery. Strong verbal and written communication skills, and basic typing and computer skills are essential to this role.
This position reports into our Head of US Marketing and Social Lead.
