Our fast-growing Technology startup sennder Italia is looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our “Finance Team”. The role is based out of the Milan office and will report to the Head of Financial Statement and Tax. Do you want to help us shape the future of the logistics industry?

The Accounting Specialist supports month-end close, periodic  fiscal and civil reports  and budgets,. 

You will be collaborating closely with Service “Amministrativo Partecipate di Poste Italiane”, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and treasury.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

• Receive, process, and reconcile cash flow statements
• Ensure  respect of  deadlines processes flow and on time delivery;
• Prepare adjusting entries;
• Support the month-end closing in collaboration with Poste Italiane and sennder Germany;
• Support the monthly financial statements redaction;
• Assist with external audit requests / internal information requests;
• Support the periodic fiscal obligations.

PREFERABLY YOU ARE:

• 3 to 5 years experienced in a similar role;
• Highly knowledgeable in national and international accounting (focus on IFRS);
• Strongly proficient in  double entry and reconciliations;
• Highly experienced  in accounting processes;
• Structured, organized, able to prioritize, with a great attention to details and strong accuracy;
• Familiar with ERP systems (SAP is a plus);
• An advanced MS Office (Excel, Access, Power point), and databases user;
• Proactive and  reliable.
