About your future Team

Solarisbank's Finance department is responsible for accounting, tax, financial and regulatory reporting for our growing business. We have a central role in building state of the art FinTech products to empower our partners and achieve success.  We operate with the vision of establishing automated, data-driven and scalable Finance processes. We are looking for a talented Accounting / Finance Specialist who will be mainly responsible for integrating acquisitions, branches, subsidiaries and new products in our existing group structure also be mainly responsible of Corporate M&A due diligence execution and building up capital market readiness, including the implementation of IFRS.

Your role

• You are mainly responsible for projects like for integrating acquisitions, branches, subsidiaries and new products in our existing group structure, particularly in the areas of accounting, financial and regulatory reporting and data management.
• You are driving the capital market readiness for the CFO function, including the implementation of IFRS.
• You analyze and improve financial processes in order to shorten time to close, improve controls and ensure scalability as the business grows.
• You collaborate closely with other departments to build correct booking logics and models for new financial products.
• You liaise with the auditors (internal and external) and you are also responsible for the internal and external finding management (monitoring and closure of findings as project manager)

What you should bring along

• You have extensive experience in Accounting / Finance processes and benefit from an audit background
• You have already obtained a strong understanding and practical experience of Finance and Accounting. Experience with banking industries preferred.
• You would like to expand this experience in a dynamic, fast-growing company and make a significant contribution to the successful development and expansion of Solarisbank AG.
• You enjoy projects that improve processes and controls and increase efficiency.
• Detailed understanding of financial processes and thorough HGB and IRFS expertise. Tax knowledge is a plus.
• You feel comfortable working with Excel, Word and PPT. Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
• You enjoy working independently but you are also a strong team player
• You have excellent communication skills and thrive on working with a large range of stakeholders, as well as working in a team and supporting team members in achieving tangible results and progress.
• Due to the international environment, advanced English skills are required (additional language courses are offered). German is a significant plus.
