Account Manager (m/f/d)

The Webgears Group successfully operates international Smart-Shopping Portals that reach more than 5 million users each month. Our goal is to give our users access to vouchers and deals to provide them with inspiration during their shopping process, which is achieved using an intelligent system to pair an extensive list of e-commerce brands on the sites of popular media companies. In addition to the deal communities Mydealz (DE) and hotukdeals (UK), digital brands such as Bild (DE), Computerbild (DE) and The Daily Beast (US) rank amongst our partners.


The Account Manager UK/US (m/f/d) revises all inquiries coming from our Affiliate partners in the UK and the US. You will arrange global placement packages on our websites with Advertisers from all industries.  Thereby, you will look after the campaigns from start to end. Additionally, you will attend industry-specific events together with the Key Account Managers and have the chance to meet your partners face 2 face.


Your tasks:

  • Development and maintenance of relationships with Affiliate Partners in the UK and US in order to increase the revenue through media packages
  • Development of new clients (Advertisers) into Key Accounts 
  • Planning and implementation of client campaigns 
  • Use of internal tools for partner management
  • Active exchange with agencies and networks
  • Regular participation in industry-specific events 
  • Support in collaboration with other departments and business partners 
  • Conducting presentations to clients 


Your profile: 

  • Completed commercial education,
  • 1-2 years of previous experience in a similar position 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • English language skills on a native level are required, both written and spoken
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Basic understanding of Affiliate Marketing is desirable 
  • Very good perception, high willingness to learn, hands-on mentality as well as service orientation
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%
