We are looking for a highly motivated and talented Agency Account Executive to develop and grow our agency strategy and vision for Klarna Media. We are a new team focused on commercializing Klarna’s Ecosystem for brands and agencies to capture media campaigns and grow revenue. The ideal candidate will have strong agency and direct client relationships, a passion for selling media and audience-based selling, a data-driven mindset, and a proven track record of closing new business. The candidate will demonstrate a keen understanding of Klarna digital properties and will align on operational needs to support continued growth across the digital landscape.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Source, pursue and close deals with major advertising agencies 
  • Prospect new business, make in-person presentations to clients, build relationships and negotiate contracts
  • Manage a growing pipeline and accurately forecast new business closure rate and revenue booked
  • Work closely with sales management to consistently achieve and exceed revenue goals, as well as to identify emerging trends in the marketplace
  • Provide a consultative approach, gaining insights into customer needs and experiences and translating those into sellable opportunities
  • Leverage creative solutions to increase Klarna’s agency win rates and ensure that we are delivering against the agency’s core business
  • Ability to sell multi-media revenue across all products including banners, video, CRM, live shopping and ability to adapt easily to evolving new/innovative offerings

  • Previous experience with working with agencies and direct brands, with a good network of contacts 
  • Have a minimum of 5 years experience as a marketing professional, preferably in media sales and marketing or publishing environment
  • Ideally a university degree in Marketing, Business management or equivalent
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams but also working with external partners preferable
  • Proven abilities to plan and execute on multiple campaigns or projects simultaneously 
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills with an ability to feedback to senior management on a regular basis 
  • You are fluent (preferably native) in English, in both verbal and written communication
