Your Mission

  • Produce technical and product-related documents for end customers in English and German
  • Maintain and update existing technical documentation in 8 languages
  • Work closely with product managers, developers and QA managers
  • Edit and layout forms and legal documents
  • Help coordinate translations in 8 languages, proofread and edit English and German translations
  • Respect and drive terminology management





Your profile

  • At least 3 years experience as Technical Author in an international environment preferred in software development
  • Master Degree in Technical Writing / Information Design / Applied Linguistics or another relevant degree
  • Knowledge of structured documentation in line with standards and target group
  • Proven proficiency in TYPO3 or other CMS, Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign. Previous experience with JIRA and Confluence is a plus
  • Ability to make the complex clear and simple through written documentation, clear and concise authoring style
  • Excellent editing and writing skills with a special focus on translation-oriented authoring
  • Ability to juggling multiple competing priorities and tasks in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Fluency in English and German is a must (written and spoken) – any additional language considered as a plus    
  • Good understanding of software technology and affinity in dealing with IT applications
  • Obsessive about accuracy and nuance with a strong attention to detail
