Your Mission

You will be improving the quality of our software and our QA processes, this includes:
  • Assuring functional and non-functional quality requirements for backend applications (APIs) in an agile team
  • Working together with developers, product owner and testers to ensure tests plans cover all requirements, overall functionality and quality of the software.
  •  Root cause analysis of defects including reporting & tracking of issues •    Prevention of having defects implemented by working closely with the developers
  • Responsibility for design, maintenance, execution and evaluation of tests
  • Automating test cases to improve regression coverage, safety & reliability
  • Analyzing and improvement CI/CD processes
  • Execution of manual tests with changing requirements
  • Working with TDD (Test Driven Development) and BDD (Behavior Driven Development)

Your profile

  • A degree (BA+) in computer science or a completed relating apprenticeship with according professional experience
  • Solid experience in testing backend applications & REST APIs 
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes 
  • Good understanding of agile development methodologies and related testing processes (primarily Scrum). 
  • Working experience with implementing QA measures in agile IT organization and the integration with CI/CD tools
  • Experience in security and/or performance testing (are desirable)
  • Qualifications in the area of software testing (are beneficial) 
  • Experience with the Atlassian suite (are beneficial) 
  • ands-on experience with REST API testing / Cucumber-Behat / Gherkin / Postman (are beneficial)
  • Fluent in English
