Senior Product Analyst (Payments)

       As a Payments Products Senior Analyst, we expect you to bring your analytical skills to solve meaningful problems in our core business at SumUp: Payments!  You will be the ultimate responsible in guaranteeing that the solutions we implement are working as expected and use data to find out where we should focus our efforts to deliver value for our merchants. You will be involved in the products we already have, and also  part of the launch of new solutions. 

      The Payments Product team you will be part of,  is responsible for ensuring that the core of SumUp operation runs smoothly, keeps compliant and is at their best to allow the small business owners to do what they love and trust that their business’ payments are being taken care of.

What you’ll do

• Influence the evolution of Payments products by working closely with the global Engineering & Product teams and other stakeholders
• Be involved in regulatory matters, helping us understand regulations and come up with product requirements applied on SumUp Ecosystem 
• Use a lot of data (from differents sources) to put together meaningful strategies to deliver value to our merchants, including new products and services
• Create Dashboards that allow us to be truly data driven and measure the effectiveness of our solutions
• Ensure projects are delivered according to schedule, by working closely from concept to delivery with different teams

You’ll be great for this role if

• You have 3+ years of professional experience, of which at least 1 as a Business Analyst or Product Analyst
• You get excited about solving problems and have many stories to tell where you were able to come up with solutions
• You have entrepreneurial mindset, not afraid to get your hands dirty
• You are able to crunch numbers and obtain valuable insights from large arrays of data
• Previous experience working with SQL, Tableau and Python would be greatly appreciated - you will have to analyse data from different sources
• You are fluent in Portuguese and English - you'll be working in a truly global company
