Your Tasks

  • You are part of the team that develops the Body Structure (Body in White) of the Sion
  • Body development includes all requirements, component approvals, budget and timing
  • The release of the Sion for series production is another important part of your responsibilities
  • To ensure the optimal integration of further parts to the body structure and to plan and develop solutions, you will be in regular contact with internal module managers, external development partners and our suppliers
  • You support the project documentation
  • You prepare requested documents, evaluate the offers received and give the starting signal for the order
  • In your role, you always take care of costs, quality and deadlines - but also sustainable and environmentally friendly production

Our Requirements

  • Technical degree in the field of mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or similar
  • 15+ years experience in the field of car body structure development as well as knowledge of automotive - processes such as APQP, PPAP
  • Involvement in the launch of a series production in the automotive sector and were primarily responsible for the coordination and release of the body structure parts and the body itself 
  • Talents in communication, organization and coordination of suppliers and partners
  • Experience in deliberate planning and ensuring compliance with the budget plan and ideally experience in designing RFQ's
    Knowledge in integration of carry over parts and aluminum body structures is a big advantage 
  • You are fluent in English. (Fluent in German is a plus)
  • Sustainability is close to your heart, you like to swim in the open ocean and stand by your successes and mistakes
