Objective of the Role
Empower the data science team to build the future of science
At ResearchGate your work will help over 20 million scientists and researchers solve global challenges. Whether studying the first moments of our universe, developing innovative cancer treatments or tackling global warming, our users are making a real difference.
Data and ML models are at the core of everything we are doing - for example when we recommend relevant content to scientists, connect them with other relevant people in their area or with other parts of the scientific ecosystem. We operate on a Petabyte scale - our research graph consists of 20mn+ users, 150+ mn publications, 1.5+ bn citations. Data and models heavily shape the experience of scientists on our platform.
As an Engineering Manager for Data Science/ML, you will enable your team to build ML models that power a great user experience for our users and customers. You will motivate and enable your team to work on challenging data science and ML engineering problems. You will shape the vision collaboratively with other engineering and data leaders and teams. You will own the roadmap to improve the way we work with data and ML in different areas of the company.
Most importantly, you and your team will make an impact for 20+ million scientists around the world, who themselves have an impact on 8 billion peoples’ lives via their research.
