To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Senior Internal Auditor with an extensive experience in the audit of banking processes. You are able to check the implementation of legal and regulatory requirements (MaRisk, MaComp, GwG, KWG etc.). You are also familiar with auditing the accounting, annual financial statements and the controlling field. In addition, you will audit our existing cooperation partners from the business units.

Your Role:

• Independent preparation and execution of audits, incl. drafting of audits reports and coordination with the business units
  • Participation in the review and assurance of the compliance, security and efficiency of processes and systems
  • Analysis and independent evaluation of the internal control system and organizational processes
• Action tracking and follow-up from internal and external audit findings
• Support of internal projects according to MaRisk
• Preparation of ad-hoc analysis
• Contact Person for the business units (Businesspartnership)
• Preparation of the audit planning
• Further development of the auditing methods
• If required, assumption of special topics in the area of internal auditing

 What you should bring along:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of auditing banking regulatory requirements (CRR, MaRisk, MaComp, KWG/GWG, etc.)
• Education as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) will be an advantage
• Very Good knowledge of fundamental banking processes
• Good understanding of the IT landscape
• Resilience and quick comprehension, Assertiveness and high motivation
• Ability to work in a team and a high degree of decision-making ability
• Ability to present complex issues in an understandable way
• Careful, independent and pragmatic way of working
• Confident appearance, excellent social skills, hands-on mentality, high level of self-motivation
• Outstanding communication skills in German and English, both written and verbal
